Fernando Barreiro

Fernando Barreiro, CIPP/E, CIPM, currently serves as the Privacy Operations and Compliance Senior Manager and Data Privacy Product & Tech Senior Manager at Adevinta since June 2023. Prior to this role, Fernando worked at TrustArc from August 2019 to June 2023 as a Global Privacy Principal, Senior Global Privacy Manager, and Global Privacy Manager. Fernando's experience includes an association with KPMG España from November 2014 to November 2018 as an associate lawyer specializing in privacy, regulatory, public, and competition law, contributing to GDPR implementation projects for major financial institutions in Spain. Additionally, Fernando gained early legal experience as a legal intern at the Ministerio de Defensa Español in 2014. Fernando holds a Posgrado in Protección de Datos y Seguridad de la Información from UPF Barcelona School of Management, a Master’s degree in legal practice from Universidad CEU San Pablo, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Law and Political Science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
