Jesus Choliz

Jesus Choliz has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of information security and technology. Jesus started their career as a Software Developer at Pronet ISE in 2000. Jesus then worked as a Software Analyst and Programmer at Tango/04 Computing Group from 2001 to 2004. Jesus then joined Ernst & Young as an IT Security Consultant and IS Auditor, eventually becoming a Manager in charge of a local department of Security Consultants. In 2010, they joined Scytl Secure Electronic Voting as a Senior Security Expert and later became the Director of Security responsible for risk management, security policies, and vulnerability management. Jesus then moved to Adevinta Spain in 2017 as the CISO and DPO, leading the initiatives for GDPR compliance. Jesus also took on the role of Engineering Director for IT & Security (CIO) and was responsible for creating a new area and promoting collaboration within the teams. In 2023, Jesus was promoted to Global Head of Cloud Strategy and Governance at Adevinta, where they lead distributed teams across Europe in charge of the cloud transformation of multiple teams, brands, and marketplaces.

Jesus Choliz has a diverse education history. Jesus completed a Skills Development Programme in Administration and Business Management at EADA Business School in 2014. In 2005, they earned a Master's degree in Software Engineering from CEF (Centro de Estudios Financieros) and a Postgraduate degree in Project Management from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Wales in 2001. In 1999, Jesus Choliz received a Higher Education Diploma (HED) in Computing from the University of Wales. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including CRISC from ISACA in 2011, CISM from ISACA in 2009, PMP from PMI in 2009, ISO27001 Lead Auditor from BSI in 2006, and CISA from ISACA in 2005.
