Aakanksha Pilay

Aakanksha Pilay has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Aakanksha started their career as a Social Media Marketing intern at Procter & Gamble in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a Reporter at Zee Media Corporation Limited for a short period. Aakanksha then joined India Today as a Reporter from April 2019 to June 2019.

In September 2019, Aakanksha completed a Public Relations internship at I-PAC (Indian Political Action Committee). Aakanksha subsequently interned at Doordarshan Kendra from October 2019 to February 2020.

In 2020, Aakanksha took on various roles. Aakanksha worked as a News Writer/Author at Business Upturn from August 2020 to September 2020. Aakanksha also interned at All You Need as a Public Relations Intern from September 2020 to December 2020. Additionally, they held the position of PR and Marketing Associate at Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation from October 2020 to September 2021.

Currently, Aakanksha is working as an Account Executive at Adfactors PR starting from June 2022.

Aakanksha Pilay completed their education with a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Journalism from the University of Mumbai between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Mass Media degree in Journalism from Ramnarain Ruia College, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. In 2015 and 2016, Aakanksha completed their 12th HSC from M.J. College Jalgaon. Additionally, they acquired several certifications, including Content Writing and Public Relations for branding from Udemy in November 2022, Overview on Digital Marketing and Technology Strategy from Udemy in July 2022, and Digital Marketing from Google Digital Unlocked in September 2020.
