Prashant Waghe has a diverse education history. Prashant started their educational journey in 1991 at Kishinchand Chellaram College of Arts Commerce and Science, where they pursued a degree in Science and completed their H.S.C. in 1993. Prashant then enrolled at Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE) in Mumbai, where they studied Mechanical Engineering and received a B.E. (Hon's) degree from 1993 to 1997.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Prashant continued their education at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Prashant pursued an MBA degree in General Management from 1997 to 1999. In November 2018, they also obtained a certification in Value Creation through Operations Strategy from the same institution.
