John Helmsøe-Zinck is the managing partner at VIA equity and has more than 25 years of CEO experience serving as a top executive in global IT enterprises, management consulting and private equity. In addition, John has held independent non-executive board of director positions in the communications and IT sectors.
As partner at VIA equity John has been a board member at Nets, KMD, Adra Software, Projectplace, DDD Retail, and several other VIA portfolio companies.
Prior to founding VIA equity John managed his own company, Co-Management International (cooperating with a number of international private equity funds) and was a co-founder of Danske Venture Partners. John has a wealth of experience, holding positions such as MD of Fujitsu/ICL and before that as VP and Managing Director of A.T. Kearney Copenhagen, Executive Vice President of the global Commodore Group, Managing Director of Commodore Computers, and OEM Manager of Hewlett-Packard.
In addition, John has held independent directorships in Cybercity (Chairman), TC Group A/S (Chairman), Bergsøe4 (Chairman/director), Jamo, and several others.
John holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
