Thomas Stearns

Thomas Stearns has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Thomas currently holds the position of Principal Data Scientist at Vizit, a role they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Data Scientist at Deep Labs from January 2021 to December 2022. Thomas also worked as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School from July 2020 to February 2021 and as the Chief Data Scientist at Solos Health Analytics from June 2020 to December 2020.

Before joining Solos Health Analytics, Thomas Stearns worked as a Data Scientist at DataRobot from June 2018 to April 2020. Thomas also served as a Senior Data Engineer at ENGIE Insight from July 2016 to June 2018. Thomas started their career as a Predictive Analytics Engineer at Verilume, where they led a data analytics effort to identify underutilized IT resources and built a machine learning Python engine for forecasting computer cluster utilization.

Thomas Stearns also has consulting experience, having worked as a Consultant at Model N from July 2013 to July 2014. Thomas pursued their graduate studies at Syracuse University, where they worked as a Mathematics Teaching Assistant from 2009 to June 2013.

Thomas Stearns attended the University of Rochester from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics. Following this, they pursued further education at Syracuse University from 2009 to 2013, graduating with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mathematics.
