SAYANTAN MAJI, Ph.D.

Dr. Sayantan Maji has a diverse work experience in academic and industry settings. SAYANTAN is currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at Adicet Bio, Inc since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Cabaletta Bio as a Senior Scientist in Advanced Manufacturing from November 2021 to July 2022. SAYANTAN also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pennsylvania from January 2020 to December 2021. Before joining the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Maji served as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Florida College of Medicine from June 2016 to January 2020. SAYANTAN gained research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic from June 2015 to May 2016, where their work focused on extracellular vesicle (EV) based treatments for cancer therapy and performing toxicity profiling experiments for EV formulations. Dr. Maji started their career as a Graduate student at the University of North Texas Health Science Center from August 2010 to May 2015.

Sayantan Maji, Ph.D. has a diverse education history in the field of biomedical sciences and cancer research. They completed their Master of Science degree in Medical Biochemistry at Manipal University from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Cancer Biology from UNT Health Science Center, where they studied from 2010 to 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Sayantan Maji has obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in April 2023. They have also completed courses in Introduction to Relational Database and SQL from Coursera in November 2022 and Introduction to Translational Science from the University of Michigan in November 2022. These certifications showcase their commitment to continuous learning and expanding their skill set.
