Soundarya Shanthappa

Soundarya Shanthappa, CPA, currently serves as the Associate Director of Accounting and Assistant Controller at Adicet Bio, Inc. since August 2025. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Accounting at Third Harmonic Bio from April 2024 to July 2025, and Senior Manager and Accounting Manager at Lyra Health from September 2021 to April 2024. Soundarya also held the position of Accounting Manager at AstraZeneca from January 2021 to September 2021, and at Acerta Pharma B.V. (a member of the AstraZeneca Group) from January 2018 to December 2020, along with experience as Senior Accountant at Acerta. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Audit Associate and Audit Associate at KPMG US from August 2015 to November 2017. Soundarya earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business in 2015 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Economics from Babson College in 2015.
