Jad Chouman has a diverse work experience in the marketing and business field. Jad started their career in 1998 as a Sales & Marketing Intern at adidas and later became an Assistant Marketing Manager. In 2001, Jad joined Salomon as a Brand Manager before returning to adidas in 2004 as Head of Product. Jad then held various roles at adidas including Head of Product & Sports Marketing, Head of Marketing - GCC, Senior Marketing Director - MENA, and General Manager - Morocco. In 2018, they became the Senior Director of the Business Unit - Emerging Markets at adidas, and in 2021, they took on their current role as the Senior Director of Marketing for the Business Unit Originals & Partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region.
Jad Chouman attended Lebanese American University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from 1995 to 1999. Jad later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the same university, completing it in 2001. Prior to their university education, they completed the French Baccalauréat program at lycée in 1995. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Advanced Consumer Behavior, Building Resilience, and Social Media Marketing with Facebook and Twitter from LinkedIn in 2018.
