Matthias Schiersand

Matthias Schiersand has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Matthias began their career at Bosch in 1995, where they worked as a Regional Sales Manager until 2001. Matthias then joined Intersnack, where they served as the Supply Chain Director for Vico S.A. from 2001 to 2006. In 2006, Schiersand joined adidas and held various positions over the years. Notably, they served as the Operations Director for adidas Group France from 2006 to 2010. Matthias then took on roles such as Senior Vice President of Global IT Markets and Senior Vice President of IT in the Asia Pacific region for adidas. Their most recent position at adidas was as Senior Vice President of IT Global Markets, which they held from January 2020 onwards.

Matthias Schiersand attended Universität Mannheim from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a diploma in business administration (Dipl. Kfm). In 2017, they earned a certificate in digital transformation from INSEAD. Matthias then pursued executive education at Harvard Business School, completing a leadership development program in 2018 and an executive development program focusing on business management and leadership development in 2019.
