Matthew Vortex is an accomplished Senior Operations Manager with extensive experience in quality management and engineering within the automotive sector. Currently at Adient since July 2017, Matthew oversees a team of engineers in implementing an IATF16949 certified Quality System, focusing on key performance indicators across safety, 5S, quality, and cost. Prior roles include Quality Manager and Manufacturing Engineer at various companies such as NSG Pilkington and Ruskin, where responsibilities encompassed process design, capital projects, and maintaining customer relationships. Matthew's career began with a solid foundation in the U.S. Coast Guard, culminating in a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.
