Sydney Baker

Sydney Baker is a Product Engineer at Adient since June 2020, specializing in the design, development, testing, validation, and manufacturing capabilities for Toyota car programs. Sydney serves as the front-line customer engineering interface and is adept at delivering technical solutions to meet project objectives. Previous experience includes a role as a Benchmarking Engineering Intern at Adient, where Sydney contributed to reverse engineering and data management for benchmarking purposes, as well as organizing virtual events. Sydney has also held various positions in organizations such as IISE Manufacturing and Design Division and the Society of Women Engineers, demonstrating strong leadership skills as Vice President of Talent at Big Ticket Productions. Sydney is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Engineering Management at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
