Courtney Percy has held a variety of research positions in their career. Courtney began in 1998 as a Summer Guest Student at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, where they worked in the Stegeman Toxicology lab supporting efforts examining activation of NF-kappaB by xenobiotic compounds in a marine fish model. Courtney was able to confirm the presence of Rel members in fish by the cloning of a Rel homology domain from scup liver. In 2000, they began working as a Principal Research Associate at Genzyme. In 2011, they joined Adimab, LLC, where they held the roles of Principal Research Associate I and Principal Research Associate II.
Courtney Percy obtained their high school diploma from Hartford High School in 1994. Courtney then went on to the University of New Hampshire where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Marine & Freshwater Biology in 1997. After that, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and obtained their M.S. in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology in 2000.
