Vijay Mansukhani

Mr. Vijay Mansukhani is the co-promoter of MIRC Electronics Limited a consumer electronics company that manufactures the ‘ONIDA’ brand products which he founded in 1981. Currently, he is the Managing Director at Onida. A graduate from the College of Marine Engineering, Mumbai, Vijay has over 30 years of experience and proven expertise in driving organizational growth. He is a key member in driving potential new opportunities and implementing corporate growth strategy for MIRC / ONIDA.

Today, MIRC / ONIDA is one of India’s leading consumer electronics companies manufacturing and marketing Color Televisions, Washing machines, DVDs, Air conditioners and Microwave ovens. It enjoys strong brand equity amongst Indian customers, making it one of the most trusted brands in the durable goods industry and the second most preferred Color Television brand. Over the years, it has established emotional brand connect with its consumers through its advertising strategy and the much adulated brand mascot - the ‘ONIDA Devil’. The company has ambitious growth plans and has recently launched an extensive range of GSM mobile phones. Onida exports its products to many of the Middle Eastern countries through its offices in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
