Evan Spencer

Early Detection Team Field Crew Leader at Adirondack Research

Evan Spencer graduated from Paul Smith’s College(PSC) in Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife Science with a concentration in fisheries. During his time at PSC, Evan worked in the Natural Science Department as Technical Assistant for the Fisheries and Aquatic Science Lab, developed the student chapter of the American Fisheries Society of which he is a member, and was a student-athlete on a National Championship Nordic ski team. Evan is interested in observing and studying fish and invertebrates in aquatic ecosystems as well as understanding stream dynamics and hydrology in watersheds. Currently, he is studying freshwater invertebrate ecology by conducting a study on the diel drift movements of aquatic macroinvertebrates in streams.
