Jana Joeressen

Jana Joeressen has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Jana started their career as a Kayak teacher in 2015, where they taught kayaking until 2018. Jana then pursued internships in the outdoor sports industry, including an internship in the development and production of carbon ski touring boots at Gignoux EURL in 2019 and an internship in the technical development of ski touring bindings at Oberalp Group from December 2020 to March 2021. Jana has also gained research experience, first as a Student Researcher at the Vehicle Safety Institute - TU Graz from April 2021 to July 2021, and later as a Junior Researcher from July 2021 to October 2022. Jana continued their research work as a Student Researcher at the Vehicle Safety Institute - TU Graz from July 2020 to November 2020. In 2020, Jana also worked as a Student Assistant at IMAT - Institute of Materials Science, Joining and Forming @ TU Graz. Currently, they are serving as a Test Engineer at AdjuCor GmbH from February 2023. Jana's experience showcases their passion for outdoor sports and their strong research and technical skills.

Jana Joeressen has a diverse education history in various fields. Jana started their educational journey in 2004 at Städtisches Meerbusch Gymnasium, where they obtained their Allgemeine Hochschulreife in 2012. In 2009, Jana attended Motueka High School in New Zealand for an academic year abroad.

In 2013, Jana enrolled at Technische Universität Graz, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. Jana successfully completed their Bachelor of Science degree in 2018. Alongside their studies, Jana also attended Universidad de Zaragoza in 2015 and 2016, focusing on Mechanical Engineering.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Jana continued their education at Technische Universität Graz and pursued a Master of Science degree in Advanced Materials Science, which they will be completing in 2021. Jana also expanded their educational horizons in 2019 by attending Université Grenoble Alpes for a brief period to gain knowledge in Materials Science.

Additionally, Jana is concurrently working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, which they began in 2020 and is expected to finish in 2022.
