Liliana Betancourt has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering, architecture, and management. Liliana started their career at ETB as a Senior Analyst and Data Architect, where they served as the coordinator of the data quality team and was responsible for defining and implementing data quality processes.
Liliana then worked at BAS-X as an Oracle Data Specialist, focusing on developing data quality and migration processes using XML and global industry standards.
After that, Liliana joined Hildebrando as a Data Quality Specialist and Project Manager, leading the migration and loading of clients to SAP CRM. Liliana ensured the consistency and quality of information through the use of official sources and migration templates.
Next, they joined ICFES as a Data Architect for Business Intelligence, where they identified and proposed data sources for BI solutions and analyzed data models for different business functions. Liliana also ensured data availability and analyzed data inconsistencies in source systems.
Liliana then joined Grupo Aval as the Director of Information Architecture, where they defined and implemented data governance and quality projects for the group's entities. Liliana was also involved in the evaluation of consulting proposals for information governance projects.
Currently, Liliana is working at ADL Digital Lab as the Head Data Engineer and Data Lake. Liliana is responsible for overseeing data engineering activities and managing the data lake infrastructure.
Additionally, Liliana is also a Docente Especializacion Gobierno Datos at Universidad Antonio Nariño, where they teach specialized courses on data governance.
Liliana Betancourt obtained a Certification in Big Data from Arcitura in 2018. Liliana pursued a Master of Information System with excellence award, specializing in Business Intelligence, Project Management, and Data Management from Griffith University between 2007 and 2009. In 2004, they completed a program in Database and Internet Application Development from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and also received training in Oracle development. Liliana Betancourt also holds a degree in Systems Engineering with an emphasis on Software Development from Universidad Antonio Nariño. Additionally, they have participated in the AWS Data Lab program offered by Amazon Web Services.
