Data Scientist at Adlumin

Mahkah Wu has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries.

Mahkah started their career as a Research Assistant at the Naval Research Laboratory from July 2010 to May 2013.

After that, they worked as a Researcher at the Boettcher Lab, University of Oregon, from April 2013 to June 2014. Here, they focused on synthesizing ZnO and IGZO using electrolysis and spin coating techniques.

Following this, Mahkah was the Deputy Data Director for the Alaska Democratic Party from June 2014 to November 2014. In this role, they brought the Alaskan Democratic Party's voter file in line with national standards and provided help desk support for progressive campaigns.

From October 2015 to August 2017, they served as an Assistant Analyst at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner. Mahkah worked with a small team applying analytical techniques to political polling data on behalf of progressive organizations.

In February 2018, they joined Analytics Services as a Technical Analyst II. Here, they brought data science and visualization skills to cross-disciplinary teams working on various projects. Mahkah presented statistical findings directly to clients, designed relational database schemas and pipelines, and developed a system to simulate multiple courses of action.

Most recently, Mahkah is working as a Data Scientist at Adlumin, Inc. from January 2020.

Mahkah Wu attended the University of Oregon from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Chemistry with Honors.
