Kathy Howe-Burket obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Ceramics from the Art Institute of Chicago, where they studied from 1980 to 1982. Prior to that, they attended the College of St. Teresa from 1977 to 1980, where they pursued a field of study in Art Therapy. In addition to their formal education, Kathy has obtained a certification in "Humble Leadership: The Power of Relationships, Openness, and Trust" from LinkedIn in April 2022.
