Sanjay Das

Sanjay Das has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sanjay is currently working at adMarketplace as a Director - Data Engineering/Team Lead since October 2020. In this role, they are responsible for creating and managing a Big-Data platform, as well as providing access to live and historical data to internal and external users through dashboards and APIs. Sanjay also handles tasks such as anomaly detection, data governance, and cloud migration, while collaborating with business analysts and technology counterparts to understand and translate business requirements. Furthermore, Sanjay manages estimation, scheduling, milestone tracking, verification, risk management, and project status reporting, and defines the solution road-map.

Prior to their current position, Sanjay worked as a Consultant at Cigna and CVS Health from October 2019 to September 2020, providing their expertise and guidance in their respective projects.

From 2017 to 2019, Sanjay served as an Architect/Principal Software Engineer at E*TRADE. During this time, they played a crucial role in planning, designing, and implementing architectural solutions.

Before joining E*TRADE, Sanjay worked for multiple client sites in New York and New Jersey from June 2014 to January 2017. As a Lead Back-end Developer/Consultant, they contributed to various projects such as prototyping a new Big Data platform, developing solutions for data ingestion and processing, and managing and deploying consumer-facing mobile and web applications.

From 2009 to 2014, Sanjay worked at Symphony Fintech as a Software Architect/Lead Back-end Developer. Sanjay'sresponsibilities included architectural design and development of software solutions.

As an Independent FinTech Consultant from 2003 to 2009, Sanjay provided consultancy services in the financial technology sector.

Earlier in their career, Sanjay held positions at Morgan Stanley as a Team Lead from 2003 to 2005, at Wit Capital as a Lead Developer from 1998 to 2001, and at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a Lead Developer/Consultant from 1996 to 1998.

Throughout their career, Sanjay has gained extensive experience in various technologies and domains, including Big Data, cloud migration, event-driven microservices, Java, Spring, and mobile app development.

Sanjay Das obtained a Master of Science (Tech) degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. Sanjay completed their studies at the institute from 1908 to 1914.
