XiaoHwa Sydney Ng has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. XiaoHwa Sydney began their career as a Key Second Assistant Director at The Big C Season 3 in 2012 and continued in the same role for Fear of Falling and Staten Island Summer. In 2014, they worked as a 2nd Assistant Director on The Jack and Triumph Show. Moving from the film industry to advertising, XiaoHwa joined ADMERASIA in 2015 as an Assistant Strategic Planner, where they were responsible for writing, creating, and developing content. XiaoHwa Sydney later transitioned to the role of Digital Strategist and eventually became the Cultural Content Director in 2021. In addition to their work in the film and advertising industry, XiaoHwa also had a role as a 2nd 2nd AD on Julie's Greenroom.
XiaoHwa Sydney Ng pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Purchase College, SUNY, between the years 2000 and 2005. Recently, in the year 2021 to 2022, they attended NYU School of Professional Studies, where they completed a Certificate in Professional Copyediting, Proofreading, and Fact-Checking.
