Omar Khedr

Omar Khedr is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Legal and Compliance at Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company PJSC since January 2023, a role that follows a tenure as Vice President Legal at the same organization beginning in December 2016. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Legal Manager at Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company and serving as an Attorney at Johnson & Pump, Attorneys & Counselors at Law from November 2014 to December 2016. Omar's expertise encompasses corporate law, foreign investment, labor law, joint ventures, legal consultancy, Islamic banking, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and government procurement. Earlier in the career, Omar held the position of Contracts Section Head at Italcementi Group, focusing on contract negotiation and settlement of financial claims. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International and Comparative Law from The American University in Cairo and an LL.B. in Law from Cairo University.
