Joey Liew

Joey Liew currently serves as Vice President Franchise & Property Services at ADNOC Distribution, overseeing the strategic management of over 1,000 rental spaces within the petrol station network, and has successfully implemented a new franchise operating model. Previously, as Vice President of Business Development, Joey led the retail expansion strategy across the UAE and internationally, achieving a record number of new fuel station openings in 2022. Prior experience includes significant roles at Shell, where Joey was Senior Network Planning and Development Manager, driving global retail expansion strategies, and Head of Convenience Retail, overseeing sales and P&L for a network of 1,000 retail stations in Malaysia. Joey's career began as a Trainee Oil Field Engineer at Schlumberger, and academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The University of Sheffield and pre-engineering studies at Taylor's College.
