Hamda al Shamsi

Hamda Al Shamsi, CFE has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Hamda is currently serving as the Vice President of Corporate Affairs at ADNOC Group since July 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President of Audit & Assurance at Borouge from February 2017 to July 2021. Hamda also worked as the Internal Audit Manager at ELIXIER- ADNOC Linde Industrial Gases Company Ltd. from June 2015 to February 2017. Before that, they were the Risk Manager and Assistant Director of Internal Audit & Risk at FEWA Official from April 2013 to May 2015. Hamda began their career at Emarat - Emirates General Petroleum Corporation as an Internal Auditor, where they worked from July 2003 to April 2013.

Hamda Al Shamsi, CFE has a Bachelor of Business Sciences degree in Accounting from Zayed University. Hamda also holds additional certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Hamda furthered their education with a degree in Strategy & Crisis Management from the National Defense College of the U.A.E. and completed a program in General Diplomacy from the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy. More recently, they pursued a degree in Leading for the Future, Excellence in Leadership from IMD. Currently, they are studying Frontiers in Finance at the Yale School of Management, expected to be completed in 2023.
