Martijn Rutters

Martijn Rutters has extensive experience in finance and management within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as CFO at ADNOC Global Trading since April 2019, Martijn has previously held significant roles at Royal Dutch Shell from April 2009 to January 2019, including Transition & Integration Manager for a joint venture in the North Caspian Sea, Finance Director overseeing a joint venture with the National Oil Company of Kazakhstan, and Project Finance Manager for the Kashagan Phase II project. Martijn's early career includes diplomatic training and assignments at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and work as a Marketing Analyst for Shell Chemicals UK and Shell Chile. Martijn holds a Master's degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has specialized military training as an Army Officer and Russian language specialist.
