Waqas Rana

Waqas Rana is an experienced professional in project planning and management, currently serving as Core Team Leader at ADNOC Group since July 2021. Prior to this role, Waqas worked as Planning Manager for Projects & Shutdowns at Dolphin Energy from October 2018 to June 2021, and held the position of TA Block Lead Planning Specialist at Shell from April 2014 to October 2018. Waqas's career began at Descon Engineering Limited, where responsibilities included Planning Controls Manager for Minor Projects and Major Turnarounds from June 2005 to March 2014, and earlier as Planning & Technical Support Engineer at Descon Chemicals Limited from May 2003 to June 2005. Waqas holds a Master of Business Administration in International Management from SBS Swiss Business School (2019-2020) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab (1997-2001).
