Amokh Varma

Amokh Varma is currently a Machine Learning Research Associate at the Media and Data Science Lab at Adobe, where they focus on optimizing training procedures for transformers and conducting fundamental research in deep reinforcement learning. Previously, Amokh gained experience as a Computer Vision Intern at STABILITY, creating classification and segmentation models for retinal images, and as a Research Intern at IBM, developing an end-to-end pipeline for tackling class imbalance in datasets. Amokh has also been contributing to research at QTIM@MGH and LSM's colab, where they work on federated learning for medical images and algorithms for multi-agent systems, respectively. Amokh earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 2023.
