Bowen Wang is a passionate and adaptable problem-solver currently serving as the Manager of Machine Learning at Adobe. They are pursuing a Ph.D. in Statistics at the University of Washington, focusing on the estimation of relatedness using genetic marker data, which has led to a first-authored publication and an invitation to present at the 29th International Biometric Conference. Previously, Bowen worked as a statistical consultant and research assistant, contributing to the Alzheimer's Disease Sequencing Project, where they created genetic analysis pipelines and identified crucial data processing errors. Bowen holds a Master's degree in Statistics from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia, where they also supported Chinese language students as a language assistant. In their free time, Bowen enjoys outdoor activities, particularly hiking in the North Cascades and Canadian Rockies.
