Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy is an accomplished security executive with extensive experience in global safety and security leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Safety, Security, and Aviation at Adobe since June 2022, Murphy previously held the position of Chief Security Officer and Vice President of Global Security and Aviation at Walmart from August 2017 to June 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing all security aspects for the organization and advising the CEO and Executive Committee. From May 1989 to July 2017, Murphy worked as a Senior National Security Executive at the Central Intelligence Agency. Murphy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics with a concentration in International Relations from the University of Maryland, where studies took place from 1986 to 1988, following earlier education at the University of Maryland in Munich, Germany, from 1984 to 1986.
