Chante De Freitas is an experienced Experience Researcher currently working at Adobe since October 2020, focusing on enhancing user engagement and retention through design framework updates and accessibility considerations. Chante also serves as a mentor at adplist.org, guiding both aspiring and current UX researchers on various research methods and practices. Previous roles include User Researcher at Therapy Innovation Inc., where Chante supported the establishment of a research practice, and leading user research initiatives at the UXR Collective in partnership with the City of Toronto. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Health Science Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from McMaster University, along with specialized training in design from The Interaction Design Foundation and OCAD University.
