Chao Cheng

Chao Cheng is currently serving as a Sr Machine Learning Engineering Manager at Adobe since September 2025. Prior to this role, Chao held various positions at PayPal from March 2019 to September 2025, including Director of Machine Learning, where leadership extended to a global team focused on developing machine learning and AI solutions for the PayPal Credit business across multiple domains such as marketing, risk, fraud, and operations. Experience also includes roles as Sr Manager and Manager of Machine Learning at Capital One, and Data Scientist roles at Victoria's Secret and General Motors, along with an internship as a Data Scientist. Chao Cheng’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business.
