Chris Willey is an experienced technology and education leader currently serving as the Director of Technology at Islands of Brilliance since August 2022 and as Director at the Immersive Media Lab, which focuses on research within emerging technologies at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, since February 2017. Willey is also an Adobe Creative Educator/Innovator, promoting innovative use of Adobe tools in education. Previously, Willey held the position of Senior Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, specializing in digital studio practice and the intersection of technology and creativity. Additional roles include Guest Curator at Villa Terrace Decorative Art Museum and various instructional positions at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. Willey holds an MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute and a BFA in Drawing from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.
