Ekant Kapgate

Ekant Kapgate currently serves as an Adobe Campus Ambassador since September 2025. Prior experience includes a tenure at Optym from March 2021 to August 2025, first as a Software Engineer (Algorithm Developer) and later as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on optimizing railroad operations through advanced algorithms. Before Optym, Ekant completed internships at TruliaCare India, where a real-time notification system was developed, and at Bennett University, contributing to a recommendation engine project using restricted Boltzmann machines. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from San José State University, a semester exchange program at COEP Technological University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology.
