Elmer Barrera

Elmer Barrera is a Senior Experience Designer at Adobe, where design leadership for document collaboration on the Acrobat Reader app has been a primary focus since June 2019. Key contributions include the successful launch of growth experiments, platform optimizations, and premium mobile features. Prior experiences include product design internships at Facebook and Workday, where Elmer contributed to projects improving user transparency and mobile dashboard design, respectively. Elmer has also served as an instructional assistant at the University of California San Diego, president of the Design at UCSD organization, and an undergraduate research assistant in biomedical informatics. Elmer holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction from UC San Diego.
