Ersin Yumer

Ersin Yumer is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and autonomous systems. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Engineering at Adobe since May 2023, Yumer focuses on enhancing creative productivity through Generative AI. Prior to this role, Yumer acted as Interim CEO and President at TuSimple, where efforts concentrated on commercializing autonomous trucks, alongside previous positions as VP of Engineering in Algorithm and Sr. Director of Engineering in Machine Learning. Yumer's expertise is further highlighted by leadership roles in Aurora and Uber, where significant advancements in autonomous vehicle systems and machine learning research were achieved. In addition, Yumer has invested in and advised various startups while holding notable positions at Argo AI and Adobe, where contributions to machine learning research have shaped several successful products. Yumer holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University.
