Jens Ihnow

Jens Ihnow is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in reliability engineering and application management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Adobe since July 2013, Jens leads a cross-geo distributed team of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers, focusing on talent acquisition to enhance team capabilities. Prior to Adobe, Jens held roles at Otto Group from April 2006 to June 2013, where responsibilities included leading operations and application management efforts to integrate legacy systems into a modern SOA environment. Jens also has experience in data processing and system administration from a position with the Bundeswehr and served as an IT System Administrator at PMA Prozeß- und Maschinen- Automation GmbH, where a local datacenter was established. Jens began a career in IT at Neways Electronics International NV, contributing to projects involving FreeBSD-based systems. Educationally, Jens holds a degree as a Staatl. gepr. Techniker in IT from Oskar-von-Miller-Schule Kassel.
