Jim Schroath

Jim Schroath is currently the Director of Revenue Accounting at Adobe, where responsibilities include managing teams overseeing revenue accounting for rebates, reserves, and manual adjustments, while partnering with various departments to ensure revenue recognition. Previously, Jim served as Sr. Director of Technical Accounting and Revenue Recognition at Marketo, leading a team to handle technical accounting matters in compliance with US GAAP and overseeing the implementation of ASC 606. With extensive experience at Itron as Global Revenue Controller and Senior Revenue Manager, Jim was responsible for complex revenue recognition in a $2 billion technology and manufacturing company. Jim also worked at KPMG as a Sr. Manager, managing global teams and preparing technical accounting memos for complex transactions. Jim holds a Master’s Degree from Brigham Young University.
