John Collomosse

Professor John Collomosse is a Sr. Principal Scientist at Adobe and a Professor of Computer Vision and AI at the University of Surrey. They lead research for Adobe’s Content Authenticity Initiative and chair cross-industry task forces focused on watermarking and blockchain. With past roles including Senior Lecturer and Reader in Computer Vision at the University of Surrey, John has contributed significantly to the fields of AI and media provenance, particularly in combating misinformation. They have also pioneered various visual search technologies and have presented to government bodies on matters of AI ethics and authenticity.
