Matt Newman

Matt Newman is currently a Principal Data Architect at Adobe, where they work on modernizing the data architecture stack, integrating data from Workfront into the Adobe ecosystem, and moving towards a microservice architecture. Previously, they served as a Principal Data Engineer at Dealertrack, modernizing a data pipeline for car dealerships, and as a Lead Engineer at Dsco.io, where they built a scalable data bus architecture. Throughout their career, Matt has held various roles, including Database Platform Solutions Manager at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they managed a team of database engineers, and Senior Data Engineer at Taulia Inc. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
