Matt Stanton

Principal Scientist

Matt Stanton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering, research, and leadership roles across various esteemed organizations. They served as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Microsoft, where they designed a UI theme element browser, and later worked as a Researcher at Adobe, developing automated controller generation methods. As the CTO and Founder of Facet, Stanton focused on innovative solutions, while previous roles included significant contributions at Google, Pixar Animation Studios, and Kinema. They earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, building expertise in data-driven techniques for interactive physical simulation. Currently, they are a Principal Scientist at Adobe.
