Pavan Pallapothu

Pavan Pallapothu is a Machine Learning Engineer with experience at Rephrase.ai since June 2023 and previously at Zomato from September 2022 to May 2023, where Pavan developed an end-to-end face recognition and liveliness detection API for authentication purposes. At Samsung R&D Institute India, from June 2021 to August 2022, Pavan focused on hand gesture recognition, improving model accuracy with hyperparameter tuning and fine-tuning pretrained models. Earlier, in 2020, Pavan contributed to the development of deep learning models for channel state information compression, implementing both encoder and decoder modules for efficient data transmission. Pavan holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, completed in 2021.
