Sharma Hendel is a seasoned professional in user experience (UX) research, currently serving as Principal & Director of UX Research Practices at Adobe since June 2005. In this role, Sharma mentors emerging UX research teams across six core practices, including Measurement & Analytics and Inclusive Research. Previous experience at Adobe includes roles as Sr Research Manager and specialist in design, research, and strategy. Prior to Adobe, Sharma worked as a Design Researcher at Microsoft Corporation, focusing on design research for Presentation Graphics, and held academic positions at Johns Hopkins University as a Post-doctoral Fellow and Researcher in cognitive science and psychology. Sharma holds a PhD and MA in Cognitive Psychology from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Experimental Psychology from Reed College.
