Yan Kang

Yan Kang is a Senior Research Engineer and Research Manager at Adobe Research, where they focus on productionizing state-of-the-art research and optimizing models for efficiency. Previously, they held positions as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Samsung and a Machine Learning Engineer at JD.COM, working on various AI and machine learning projects. Yan has contributed to research at Princeton University and Siemens, and has industrial experience in deep learning and image processing. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnic University and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science at Rutgers University. In their spare time, Yan enjoys game design, robotics, walking their black shiba inu, and playing guitar.
