Yiru Shen

Yiru Shen is an AIML researcher with a robust background in machine learning and deep learning focused on 3D shape understanding. They held roles as a Research Scientist at Facebook Reality Labs, where they pioneered generative models and contributed to AR/VR technologies, and as a Senior Research Scientist II at Cruise, leading transfer learning initiatives that enhanced multi-domain adaptability for autonomous vehicles. Yiru's earlier experience includes a Research Internship at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, where they achieved state-of-the-art results in 3D representation learning. They are currently a Research Scientist at Adobe. Yiru earned a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Clemson University.
