Charles Fortier

Charles Fortier has a diverse background in the field of biomedical engineering and drug product development. Charles obtained their Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and the National Research Council - Biotechnology Research Institute in 2015. Following their Ph.D., they joined ADOCIA, where they have held various research scientist roles. Charles started as a Research Scientist in Physical Chemistry from December 2015 to December 2019. Charles then progressed to become a Senior Research Scientist in Physical Chemistry from January 2020 to December 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Research Scientist in Drug Product Development, starting in January 2022.

Charles Fortier completed their education at two different institutions. From 2007 to 2011, they attended Ecole centrale de Lyon, where they earned their degree in Ingénieur généraliste. Following this, they pursued further education at Polytechnique Montréal from 2010 to 2015, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the field of Bio-ingénierie et ingénierie biomédicale.
