Jace Valls has extensive work experience in the field of research and development engineering. They started their career at Independent Contract in 2015 as a Rehab Equipment Assistant. In 2016, they had engineering co-op roles at both DePuy Synthes Companies and DePuy Orthopaedics. From 2017 to 2020, Jace worked at Biosense Webster as an R&D Engineer II and later as a Senior Research and Development Engineer. In 2020, they joined Adona Medical as a Senior Research and Development Engineer and currently hold the position of Staff Research and Development Engineer. Alongside their engineering roles, Jace also had various positions at Wentworth Institute of Technology, including Senior Resident Assistant, President, Tutor Liaison from TLC to the Center for Wellness and Disability, and Social Innovation Fellow.
Jace Valls completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with minors in Physics and Biology from Wentworth Institute of Technology. They attended the institute from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jace obtained several certifications throughout their career. They obtained the Certified Manufacturing Technologist certification from SME in August 2017. In August 2020, Jace obtained the Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from Johnson & Johnson. Prior to their formal education, in February 2005, Jace obtained the certification for "Protecting Human Research Participants" from the National Institutes of Health, Office of Extramural Research. Furthermore, in April 2015, they obtained the Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross.
