Pia Salk is a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice established in September 2010, specializing in the human-animal bond and the societal treatment of non-human animals. In addition to providing in-person and teletherapy services, Pia serves as an Animal Welfare and Human-Animal Bond Expert for Adopt-a-Pet.com since 2003, fulfilling roles as a spokesperson, writer, and media correspondent. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Michigan, a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Phillips Graduate University, and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University. Education also includes attendance at The Dalton School for high school.
