Michelle Sweeting is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the food industry and a strong background in technical and managerial roles. Currently serving as a Business Specialist at Barnsley Council since December 2021, Michelle also contributes as a Mentor for Adoption UK since May 2020. Previous positions include Factory General Manager at Largo Foods UK Ltd, Head of Technical at Largo Foods (UK), and Quality Manager at Kerry Foods. Michelle's career includes significant roles at United Biscuits, where responsibilities spanned various aspects of supply chain and quality management, as well as early career experience as an Environmental Policy Officer at Geest. Michelle holds a BA Hons in Food Business Management from the University of Lincoln, attained between 1993 and 1997.
