Alexandra Diaz has extensive experience in UX design and graphic design. Alexandra started their career as a Graphic Designer at Curio Road in November 2012 and worked there until July 2013. Alexandra then moved on to work as a Graphic Designer at Coco Blanca from April 2013 to July 2013.
In August 2013, Alexandra joined Adore Me as a Web & Graphic Designer and worked there until June 2014. Alexandra then transitioned to the role of Senior Associate Designer at Adore Me, where they oversaw design work on different streams such as website, marketing, and press materials. Alexandra worked closely with a Jr. Graphic Designer and collaborated with the Marketing teams. Alexandra held this role from June 2014 to January 2016.
After that, Alexandra became the Lead UX/UI Designer at Adore Me. Their responsibilities included streamlining the output of the UX Design team, leading workshops, aligning work with product roadmaps, and conducting user research. During this time, they also conducted remote Design Sprints and Design Thinking Workshops, created the Adore Me Pattern Library, and conducted user interviews and usability sessions. Alexandra held this role from January 2016 to June 2019.
Currently, Alexandra is working as the Director of UX Design at Adore Me. In this role, they lead a team of UX/UI Designers and UX Researchers to understand user needs and create solutions that meet business and user goals. Alexandra is responsible for the team's people, processes, and structure to ensure the delivery of high-quality experiences across various touchpoints.
Alexandra Diaz pursued their higher education at the Universidad de Puerto Rico from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design. In 2011, they participated in continued education at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, focusing on Web Design. Additionally, in July 2019, they completed a certification in Storytelling for Designers from LinkedIn.
