Martin Clausen

Co-Founder & Creative Director at ADORNO

Martin Clausen has had a diverse range of work experiences in various companies. In 2010, they worked as a Graphic Designer for the Raw Food Company, where they assisted with branding, packaging, and typography design. In 2011, they started freelancing as a Digital Designer, providing creative design solutions for brands in both online and offline media. In 2012, they joined bObles as a Graphic Designer, focusing on interaction design and animations for children's furniture. At the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, they worked as an Inhouse Graphic Designer, handling visual communication tasks and exhibition design. In 2015, Martin co-founded Adorno, a global community for independent designers and crafts artists, where they served as Co-founder & Creative Director. Furthermore, in 2022, they co-founded Graduates.Design, a platform for showcasing design student projects with a sustainability focus.

Martin Clausen began their education in 2010 at Sjælland Erhvervsakademi, where they pursued an Academy profession degree in Multimediadesign & Communication until 2011. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2012, they attended Københavns Erhvervsakademi KEA, studying Multimediadesigner. Finally, Martin Clausen enrolled in The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation (KADK) in 2012, completing their education journey there in 2015 and earning a Bachelor of Design degree in Design and Visual Communications.
